Lungfish

27th January 2025
Will Lungish finally reveal his secrets to Curing Virgins? And does it involve a BBQ, chloroform, or both?
Nationality  Unsure (Likely a stateless drifter or an escaped lab experiment)
History  An ex-Bingo Caller who traded "O-69" for "No-Fish." A Rum connoisseur, Curer of Virgins via traditional smokehouse techniques, and a certified Master Farter.
Previous Entrant

2025 Rookie: Managed to survive the weekend without being lynched. Provided "Showbags" that were mostly just expired coupons and rocks. Handled the BBQ with a level of hygiene that would make a seagull gag.

Referrees BigJig, The Taree Gastroenterology Department, and "B1" from Bingo Hall 4.
Preferred Team Anyone with a high-powered exhaust fan and a spare bottle of Bundy.
Alcohol Preference

Dark Rum (strictly overproof, used as both a beverage and an accelerant).

Lungish Lonk arrived on the 2025 scene like a low-pressure system—unwanted, damp, and smelling faintly of fermented cabbage. Shadowed by BigJig, Lonk spent most of his Rookie year trying to convince the veteran that "behind Midgy Garret Island" was a legitimate fishing spot. It wasn't.

His contribution to the 2025 showbags remains a point of legal contention, specifically the inclusion of "mystery jerky" that we later discovered was just sun-dried bait. However, his work on the BBQ cannot be ignored; he is the only man in MPFC history to cook a sausage so poorly that it was classified as a biological weapon, yet tasted surprisingly like hope.

Lonk’s claim to be a "Curer of Virgins" remains unverified, though we suspect it involves him sitting in a dark room and telling long, incoherent stories about the Great Bingo Riot of '98 until his victims simply give up on life.

His "Master Farter" title, however, is undisputed. He possesses a biological propulsion system that allows him to move a tinny upstream against a 4-knot current without ever pulling the starter cord.

He is a man of mystery, mostly because no one wants to ask the questions required to solve him. If the rum holds out and the wind stays behind him, he might actually catch a fish this year. Or at least finish his bingo card.

God help us all, Lungfish is back.
