Jerkbait Jake proved his mettle in 2024, not just with his fishing, but with his ability to cook a decent feed on a tinny—an excellent boat chef who can turn fresh catch (if any) into culinary gold, or at least something edible enough to forget about the heat. His primary value to competitors, however, is his utility as a human shield. Stand near this bloke for protection when the inevitable fights break out at the Bowlo; he's got the bulk and the practiced stagger to absorb all the incoming wrath of Pacific's old ducks and their aggressive drakes.
