Don't be comfused by the silent 'K', Kneptune has a distinct advantage over all other competitors. In 2011 The Approvals Committee had a 8 hour discussion about the viability of Kneptune as a competitor and in the end deferred to the International Court of Sports Arbitration. Their response was that previous winners of the Manning Point Fishing Classic are now known throughout the world as "Gods" therefore it would not be prudent for a real God to be refused entry. He lived up to that standing and granted all creatures of the deep a reprieve from his fishing line - so Godly! We can't argue with that. The odds on Knepture winning the Classic are shorter than last year because he spent the last few years in teams with fishing guns like Mr Mahi Mahi and Haka Jo. Did they give him any tips - who knows.
