Stick Like a Barnacle

With ElNino over and wild storms predicted for the 2007 classic Barnacle has been practising his storm fishing technique.  The attached photo shows Barnacle's limpet technique aboard the Selkirk Settler.  Captain Sinkem, who took the photo, was heard to say before going under for the third time "The man's unshakeable!"

Barnacle is big believer in "No run, no fun" and the bigger the run the bigger the fun.  Although no photos exist it has been said the fish he caught on the day sank the boat and had to be ridden in to shore.

With Barnacle keen to regain the trophy he graciously gave up to lesser fishermen he is hoping the extreme weather will keep the other, less committed competitors at bay.
