No Blog, No Grog

In an effort to increase the interaction amoung competitors of the 2006 Manning Point Fishing Classic, the organising committee have implemented a 'no blog, no grog'  stance. Speaking from the red carpet at the Oscars, Marcus Copperi said that the lack of involvement in the website by some competitors is most distressing - "It's most distressing", he said. "We need more things happening, so we WILL remove privileges from the competitors unless this all changes".

Asked about success of his documentry on the 2005 Classic in collecting another Oscar, Marcus said that the Penguins looked good and really made the film. "Ahhhh, that lack of killer instinct of the fishermen in the 2005 Classic did affect the tenacity of film, but when the penguins drifted in, well, it was something very, very special". At this point Marcus got a bit teary so we ended the interview before we could ask about the controversy of the "Pelican Catching" being removed from the US distribution of the film.
