Marcus Copperi is no where to be found but things look well on track for the big tournament. Manning Point has turned on the weather over the last few days and workers have taken advantage of the conditions to ensure perfection is achieved.
Competitors are also getting ready and 2010 Champion Mangrove Mike has again been seen in the area reportedly smashing a few more flatheads including some 50cm plus 'babies' (his words, not ours).
Pines at the Point also looks spick and span, ready to take its place as the official accommodation for fishing royalty.
