Welcome all to my virgin blog.  We all remember our first time.  Those intense feelings of performance anxiety.  The desperate fumbling in unfamiliar territory.  Wondering whether you are hitting the right buttons, or is it all going arse up.  Are you going to be able to satisfy the other party(s)?  Will they want me to do it again?

And so it was.  Two short minutes that seemed like hours.  And yes it did go arse up, for this is round two.  Round one came and went before it’s time and is now floating off in the ether.  On the up side,  I get to have a second go, my partner(s) didn’t get a chance to say “get off, you suck at this”

Now, it has been said that I am no fisherman.  That is a fair call.  That is why I have been in ardent training for the coming weekend.  The attached photos show one such occasion, and show that I AM COMMITTED.  The one that got away, didn’t.  Shattered by the thought that I had been beaten, I resorted to a little underwater hand to hammer combat.  The result speaks for itself.

On reading, and re reading, the rules for the MPFC I notice there is no mention of my unique style of fishing, picked up while mapping the ocean floor in the shark infested waters off Nelson Bay.  In closing I wish you all well, my fellow competitors.  Beware what tugs on your line.  A small request though, if you manage to hook up and pull in a 90KG mildly bloated Mexican holding a stubbie, be very cautious.  He is an extremely rare and protected species and please throw him back.
