On Christmas Eve when all was quite, nothing was stirring,l not even a mouse. Except for Ganghook Gibbo and Fishing Phil who stirred up some excitment off Newcastle in practice for the acclaimed Manning Point Fishing Classic. Mangrove Mike, Fishin Phil, Big Jig Geoff, Barnacle Barry and a few interested supporters had a great days fishing off an undisclosed port south of Manning Point.

Despite warnings from the 'Poissons et Boissons Extreme' ruling body, young fishermen are already warming up for the 2019 Manning Point Fishing Classic.
