Pauline Hanson has been refused entry to the 2010 MPFC.  Despite qualifying in the twin arts, Marcus and the other 74 members of the application committee has refused her entry citing that' Paulines previous career does not enhance the image that we wish to portray for the 2010 MPFC.  Oh and the fact that she knows a lot about fish might

Finally Codfish found some luck on the waters, with a nice catch of several Flathead and Slimy’s while out on a charter off the coast.

Was it the Moe that brought this luck? Or just the pure fishing talent that Codfish possess’? We’ll find out in this year’s Fishing Classic, moe or no moe!

The Men at Work song, "Down Under" is being examined by the Manning Point Fishing Classic Musical Committee for possible similarity with the MPFC Theme Song.

Manning Point Fishing Classic event lawyer and local larrikin (not trademarked)  , Barry Copperi, believes that the iconic MPFC Theme Song, "Drown Chunder"

Stingray has been hard at it (fishing that is) over the last couple of weeks, in preparation for his entry into the 2010 MPFC. A carefully planned and executed 'drift' a couple of weeks back with another MPFC competitor, Jewfish Joe, resulted in Stingray's sting being successful - nice flathead.

Well NASA may have found water on the moon, but BigJig has found where the big fish are. 

Providing further proof for worldwide acceptance of the renowned Copperian Moon Fishing Technique, BigJig shows the results that are expected from former MPFC champions are no one off.

Just to prove that the Moon fishing technique really works, BigJig set off to a secret location early (far too early) yesterday morning.

Ably assisted by Mrs Jig, BigJig plundered the deep waters to score a nice catch of flathead and a snapper.

Will the technique prove worthwhile in the long term? Will the practise sessions pay off

Mangrove Mike has made sure it's a good friday on the Manning by ensuring that the whole Mangrove family has fish for lunch.

It is also possible that locals Ronny Reuters and even the Copperi's may be joining them for the meal.

Apart from that Captian Bluering was the god of the day. Flatheads are his likings and he whipped the white buts of the honkeys,

Kneptune Kneil and Stickray have been appointed as the keen leaders of Team Red, specifically as Team Delta Dawn (whats that flower you have on?).

The selectors were really thoughtful about this decision but Dr Toohey said "it's OK"

These rookies will need to be guided by their fellow team piscatorians.
