Fishin Phil has taken out his second Manning Point Fishing Classic with an emphatic performance. His 78cm flathead picked up on Saturday afternoon was unlikely to be beaten and it wasn't. 

There were plenty of fish about on Sunday morning but definitely in hot patches rather than consistently.

Obviously to early celebrate Fishin Phil's victory there was a great fireworks display tonight at Manning Point.

Here is a fish. It is wet. It will be tea. 

On a glorious Manning Point afternoon, three champion set off across the water to test what species were out there to keep.

What they caught was fish, beautiful fish, so then killed and cooked those fish gently and it fed the champions. 

If someone could bring a lifejacket I have three on board, but in the event of a fourth fisherman I will need one more as we all know the spectators and Maritime will be out in force and there is a great champion has led me to believe preparation is everything
