Rob McTuna has taken out the 2018 Manning Point Fishing Classic on a weekend where the keeper sized fish were very hard to get. The crowing acheivement for McTuna was a keeper on the Pink Rod.

BigJig won the Pink Rod is a tight finish between him and Mangrove. Haka Jo won the Dougie for a collection of high endurance and cooking chilli

With the raising of the official banner at 3pm event proceedings are underway. Official opening is scheduled for 5pm local Manning Point time. Some of the eager starters are already out fishing with the distant hope of an early catch, while the rest of us are chilling at command central maintaining an optimal level of hydration.
