No one was ever going to beat Haka Jo's big Saturday especially when he crowned it on Sunday with plenty of good fish including a 55cm flattie. Haka Jo has one hand on the trophy after a sterling day on the Manning. He started with a few nice whiting and followed with a 50cm flattie.  The day, however, was crowned golden when he landed a 75cm jewie after a good 10 minute fight around the oyster leases.

Mangrove's team which included Ganghook and Sir James had a few keepers

Perfect weather awaits at Manning Point. The Weather Disruption Satellite is working perfectly and Mangrove and Ganghook are about to start their tethering activities.

Images have been pouring in of the apolyptic flooding that has occurred in the Manning Valley this week, torrential downfalls in the Barrington Tops causing unprecedented rains to travel down Backwater Creek, a tributary of the Manning River delta system has caused many a MPFC contestant to weep into their stein.
