With ElNino over and wild storms predicted for the 2007 classic Barnacle has been practising his storm fishing technique. The attached photo shows Barnacle's limpet technique aboard the Selkirk Settler. Captain Sinkem, who took the photo, was heard to say before going under for the third time "The man's unshakeable!"

On Christmas Eve when all was quite, nothing was stirring,l not even a mouse. Except for Ganghook Gibbo and Fishing Phil who stirred up some excitment off Newcastle in practice for the acclaimed Manning Point Fishing Classic. Local papparizzi snapped this photo of Fishing Phil with a 3.25 kg Mangrove Jack.
