It is also about the escape, the peace and quiet, communing with nature, accepting that sometimes the fish don't bite, hangin' with your mates.... at least untill the ice melts ....or the esky's empty!

Finally Codfish found some luck on the waters, with a nice catch of several Flathead and Slimy’s while out on a charter off the coast.
Was it the Moe that brought this luck? Or just the pure fishing talent that Codfish possess’? We’ll find out in this year’s Fishing Classic, moe or no moe!

Just to prove that the Moon fishing technique really works, BigJig set off to a secret location early (far too early) yesterday morning.
Ably assisted by Mrs Jig, BigJig plundered the deep waters to score a nice catch of flathead and a snapper.
Will the technique prove worthwhile in the long term? Will the practise sessions pay off

Cardinal (Zermatt, Switzerland), Nastra Azzuro (Selva Gardena, Italy), Fohrenburger Jubilaum (Lech, Austria), Schwechater Bier (Innsbruck, Austria) and Sleeman Cream Ale (Big White, Canada)

Reports are coming in from Manning Point that the bream are on at the moment.
