MPFC Dates Announced

Following the ruling from the International Court of Arbitration, the dates for the 2007 Manning Point Fishing Classic have been brought forward by 7 days.
The Classic will now be on the 9th to 12th of March. The anti-Irish sentiment has been runing high, but ever the pacifist, MPFC organiser Marcus Copperi announced the dates dressed in a emerald green suit and jolly lilt in his voice.
It is not known if the 2006 Series rookie, Irish born Michael McPherson ("Lucky Mike") will be joining the tour at Manning Point. He didn't fish in the 2006 event due to visa issues, but the anti-Manning Point feeling generated over the St Pats / Classic controversy (St Pats-Gate) in his homeland may keep him away.
