| Jewfish Joe - 10th February 2009
Finally the gun from down south has arrived to tackle the 2009 Manning Point Fishing Classic.
| Kneptune Kneil - 4th February 2009
Long history of failing to catch fish while all around are catching them.
| Catfish Col - 3rd February 2009
Classified. No History. No Future!
| Captain Bluering - 31st January 2009
I was last years umpire who kept the show running smoother than a baby's bottom! I'd love to return from retirement to do it all again in the name of responsible drinking, I mean fishing!
| Codfish Cowling - 31st January 2009
Returning to the Classic after nearly losing a foot to the dreaded 'Blood Point' in 08, and still requiring counseling to this day, our efforts as the land lovers team will be spoken about for years to come.
| Riverboat Rastus - 31st January 2009
2008 Champion - back in 2009 for a shortened campaign but still plenty of time to win.
| Stingray Smithy - 31st January 2009
2007, 2008 MPFC contestant - still chasing the trophy. Have fought and caught them on the beaches, lakes, rivers and occassionaly from the indoor tank. What do I like about fishing?... Everything! Packing the gear, rigging up, catching and releasing and occassionally keeping and of course.. drinking the beer.
| Big Jig Geoff - 30th January 2009
Winner of at least one. Pioneer of many rodless fishing techniques (now sadly all illegal). Current bookies favourite after spending the last three years training my pet hammerhead shark. Can BigJig reclaim the trophy this year?
| Fishin' Phil - 30th January 2009
Founding member of the MPFC and adventurer & thrill seeker.
| Ganghook Gibbo - 30th January 2009
Found the twin arts early and dedicated to attaining piscatorial pistatorial perfection. Double hookup specialist, sometimes even fish.
| Mangrove Mike - 30th January 2009
Even the enigma, Mangrove speaks loudly of his skills but rarely has evidence to back up his claims. We hear stories all year, but alas they seem just that - stories.

| Mullet McLean - 6th February 2008
The King of Coffs returns after a one year layoff brought about by his well-known suspension for drug use.
| Lenny Livebait - 4th February 2008
Many unsuccessful fishing ventures with with Stillwater Steve. The most recent of which did not make it beyond the boat ramp. I have made him chuck before and can strongly recommend his internally brewed berley.
| Barnacle Barry - 31st January 2008
Been fishing since I was born - maybe even earlier.
| Stillwater Steve - 31st January 2008
He has won every fishing tournament he have ever entered. His pedigree is simply immaculate. He have fished and beaten the best (and worst) of 'em. Disclaimer: This entry does not guarantees that he can or will catch fish.
